Day 8: Here we go again!
Not wanting to leave a job half-done, Brian is going to continue with the ferry flight. The Cessna 182 is still in Bangor, Maine, but has been fixed and is ready to fly across the Atlantic.
There will be a few changes to the previous plan:
1. Amended flight plan.
This time, the intended legs of the flight are:
From | To |
Bangor, Maine, USA | Goose Bay, Canada |
Goose Bay, Canada | Kuujuak, Canada |
Kuujuak, Canada | Iqaluit, Canada |
Iqaluit, Canada | Godthab, Greenland |
Godthab, Greenland | Kulusuk, Greenland |
Kulusuk, Greenland | Egillsstad, Iceland |
Egillsstad, Iceland | Wick, Scotland |
Wick, Scotland | Sherburn in Elmet, Yorkshire, England |

2. New co-pilot
Welcome, James Muratore! James is a professional pilot based in the USA. Whereas Brian and previous co-pilot Chris had known each other for several decades since their days working in IBM together, Brian and James have not yet met each other in person!
Hopefully more details will filter through to Blog HQ before the two pilots embark on their flight, but for now thanks for reading, and please free to leave a comment at the bottom of the page or to ask Brian & James a question.
In the meantime, this is their projected flight plan:
